Do you require a doctor’s referral for a session?

No. Though your extended health insurance may require a doctor’s referral.

Can anyone be helped ?

Yes, anyone can come; however, there are certain conditions for which a session may not be appropriate. We recommend you to always visit your MD before coming.

Does my insurance cover the cost for a session?

The majority of employer health plans cover osteopathic session. The degree of coverage varies based on the plan. We recommend you confirm your amount of coverage with either your Human Resources or Payroll and Benefits departments.

What is your cancellation policy?

We regret we must charge for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

What happens on the first visit?

On the first visit, you will complete a confidential health history.  We will listen to your concerns and individual needs. We will then begin our work.

Are my medical forms confidential?

Yes, all medical information is held confidential under the Regulated Health Care professional Act under law.

Will Osteopathic techniques hurt?

Techniques are not harmful. Some techniques may cause light discomfort that usually diminishes directly after the session. We will discuss each technique and its implications with you prior to the application.

What do I wear for the assessment and treatment?

We recommend that you bring a sports bra or tank top and shorts.  It is of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable.

How many times should I come?

It is impossible to answer this question. However, our clients come 2 to 3 times in average.
